And when you’ve been in that headspace, have you ever fallen into a trap of feeling sorry for yourself, or blaming other people, circumstances, or even fate for the things that aren't working out the way you had hoped or thought it would?
The truth is that you have, to some or a large extent, personal agency.
🧐Personal agency is claiming responsibility for who you are, what you experience, what you do about that experience, and how you shape your world to give you more of the experiences you want. Taking responsibility for your life takes you from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat. So rather than simply following life wherever it takes you, or how it throws you off, you get to determine the direction.
